The Color of the Sky is all about compassion and empathy, and about creating an environment of acceptance. We’re all just a little, ok maybe more than a little, disconnected from the people around us because of world events, cultural confusion, and social media.

If you only get to hear one song from this EP, this one is the most important. There’s a two-fold message. We need to openly care for the people we meet along the way and we need to know that we are OK just the way we are.

The song is not about one person in particular but many different types of people with one thing in common — they often feel pressure from society to be someone they are not. And they resort to various devices to change the world's perception of them. We don’t need to change just to meet someone else’s impossible standards. How boring would it be if we all approached life the same way?

I heard someone say, “Be you, the world will adjust.”
